Understanding user role on Payflows

Analytics : Home, Cashflows and Transactions features
No access : access to Analytics features is not allowed
Viewer : allows to access to Analytics features as a viewer only
  • Can view balance, cashflow, transactions data
  • Can export data from table or dashboard
Contributor : allows to access to Analytics features as a contributor
  • Is allowed to do everything that a viewer can do
  • Assign & edit axes for a transaction or a bulk of transactions
  • Assign & edit counterparties for a transaction or a bulk of transactions
  • Can create or edit analytical axes rules
Requests : Purchase requisitions and Payment requests features
No access : access to Requests features is not allowed
Requester : allows to request through forms
Approver : allows to request through forms and approve specific requests
Controller : allows the user to request, approve specific requests and view them all
Unrestricted : allows the user to request, approve specific requests and view all requests
Payments : Bank orders features
No access : access to Bank orders is not allowed
Payor : can created bank orders, approve other’s orders and pay all orders within their limit
Unrestricted : can created bank orders, approve other’s orders and pay all orders

Managing user role of a single user on Payflows

  1. Go to Settings section on Payflows
  1. Then go to Users management
  1. Search the desired user (you can write the name the search bar or add filter)
  1. Click on the role of the user you want to change in Analytics, Requests or Payments column
  1. Click on an other role (depending your right, the section, and the actual role of the user it can be user, admin or owner)

Managing user role of a bulk of users on Payflows

  1. Go to Settings section
  1. Click on Users management
  1. Search the concerned users (you can write the name the search bar or add filter)
  1. Select the user you want to edit role by checking the box at the far-left of the users you want to modify role
  1. Click Analytics, Requests or Payments on the top of your screen depending the role your want to modify
  1. Click on an other role (depending your right and the actual status of the user it can be viewer, unrestricted, etc)
